I’m passing through Voss coming from Oslo, and stopped here following the reputation and I found more than what I heard. A very nice and respectful guy, juicy and tasty burger. Absolutely coming back when I have the time. Your chef is the owner, only three type of burger and this is what I like about small truck food. I order the bombastic burger with fries and Solo drink, I paid 220 and left with full stomach.

We drive in to Voss and we’re travelling from Canada. We were sooo happy to see Halal food in a small place like Voss! We met Abdi and he is an absolute charm! He is very friendly and the burgers were sooo juicy and soo good! He even added extra onion rings for my hubby! The food was amazing and the service was even better! Thank you Brother Abdi!

Really wonderful food truck. The owner is so kind! I ordered a large burger to share with my partner and he actually split it into two burgers for us. I would recommend the boom burger with perfectly crispy onion rings. The fries are perfectly crispy and seasoned with a nice slightly spicy powder. Conveniently located next to a gas station with a small picnic table and bench seating available outdoors by the gas pumps.- Service

Randomly saw this 5/5 star place located downtown in Voss. Not very often i see so high scored food trucks so I deceided to try it out. Ordered crispy fries with tender marinated pulled pork with cheese saus and vegetables. It really lived up to the expectations. The staff was very nice and smiling, the portion was big and affordable and only took about 8 minutes before i got the food

The burger was phenomenal — juicy, rich, and full of bold flavor. Every bite felt like it was made with care. And the fries? Not just crispy — they were spiced to perfection. A perfect balance of crunch, warmth, and seasoning that hits all the right notes.
What made it even better was the person who served us. He treated us with true respect and generosity. Not just fast service — genuine hospitality. You can tell he takes pride in what he does, and it shows in both the food and the way he treats people.
Boombox isn’t just a food truck — it’s a full-on feel-good experience.

Super-tasty & juicy cheeseburger! Onion rings are among the best I’ve ever had! Fries are crispy & well seasoned! What a find. You have to try if you’re in or around Voss- your taste buds & belly will be grateful.

We had four absolutely delicious burgers at Boombox! The burger is full of taste, good toppings, amazing sauce and tasty spices. The fries and onion rings were also really delicious. The cook was very friendly and we ate on a bench across the street with a good view! You can tell he works hard, would visit again to help him grow his business and help me grow my belly 😄

I'm normally not a person who likes crinkle-cut fries, or fries in general to be honest, but these were the best fries I've ever had. Perfectly seasoned and cooked to an excellent crispiness. The burger was delicious too. I'd be eating here all the time if I didn't live in the US.
